First flight with our new DJI Inspire 1 Pro with the Zenmuse X5 out at the beach.
Single flyer, have not purchased a second controller. Flew quite a ways out to the big rock with a hole in the middle in the last shot and the DJI Lightbridge FPV was still in crystal clear HD with no lag or interruptions whatsoever. Panning and tilting works very well as a solo pilot, smooth as you can see in the sample clips. I previously had a DJI Phantom 2 as well as a DJI S900 with a GH4. I had a servo go out on the S900 and it did a 45º angle and came full throttle back to where the controller was. Controller was unresponsive and it hit the tower of my buddies boat and disintegrated. It’s funny how things work out because a month or so after the S900 loss, the Inspire 1 Pro X5 came out and it’s a much more compact and reliable system in my eyes. Actually fits in the back seat of a car, flies a lot longer, and has the Zenmuse X5 micro four thirds camera which has an almost identical look to the GH4. I highly recommend the Inspire, great piece of equipment and an awesome bang for your buck.
