MT. BRAVE

The Project

Definition Films partnered with Jackson Family Wines on a body of work for Mt. Brave, their Mt. Veeder estate Cabernet Sauvignon, spanning both performance-driven social campaigns and brand storytelling rooted in the vineyard itself.

The Content

  • #DrinkBravely. A social media campaign built around Mt. Brave's adventurous brand identity, pairing outdoor lifestyle imagery, including paddleboarding, with the wine. We captured both stills and video on location and delivered a full suite of social cuts: a 30-second spot, three 15-second spots, and six 6-second spots.

  • Above the Fog Line. A vineyard tour series featuring winemaker Chris Carpenter, also behind Jackson Family's La Jota, Cardinale, and Lokoya, including a flagship video tour and individual films covering each vineyard block within the Mt. Brave estate.

  • Still Photography. Across both projects, we captured a full library of still photography used in Mt. Brave's print and digital advertising.

The Impact

  • The #DrinkBravely social suite gave Mt. Brave a flexible library of ad formats for paid and organic social

  • Above the Fog Line now lives on Mt. Brave's site and social channels, giving the brand a library of vineyard-specific content tied directly to Chris Carpenter's winemaking story

  • The still photography library extended that work into Mt. Brave's print and digital ad placements
