The Project:
When W Real Estate’s Tim DeBellis came to us with a stunning luxury listing in Santa Rosa, our mission was clear: craft a lifestyle-driven commercial that didn’t just show the home, but told its story. From scripting to screen, our team handled every step of pre-production, including writing the narrative concept, casting talent, and planning every shot with intention. Our goal was to highlight the property’s high-end features and emotional appeal through a cinematic lens that would connect with buyers on a deeper level. Thus “Cookie Day” was crafted. From baking cookies with Grandma to morning mint-picked in the garden, this Fountaingrove estate is where memories bloom. Whether you're unwinding in the private home gym or sharing belly laughs by the pool, every corner invites connection and joy. With a generous main residence, a fully outfitted guest ADU, and nearly an acre of curated outdoor space, this property isn’t just where you live, it’s where your legacy unfolds.
What We Captured:
To keep things efficient and budget-conscious, our crew captured all content in a single production day. We filmed scenes that showcased both the architecture and the lifestyle possibilities, morning in the bedroom, family baking cookies in the open-concept kitchen, and swimming in the pool. Using our high-end cinema cameras, drones, and authentic lighting to amplify each scene, we created a visual arc that felt aspirational, grounded, and real.
Why It Matters:
In today’s luxury real estate market, a listing video isn’t just a walkthrough, we wanted to do something different with a story that helps buyers see themselves in the space. With the long-form hero video, we brought that story to life, while also delivering multiple short-form Instagram reels for broader social reach and versatility. By managing the creative from concept through final edit, Definition Films gave Tim DeBellis and W Real Estate a turnkey marketing asset that elevated the listing and positioned it to stand out in the competitive Sonoma County market.
