The Project

Definition Films partnered with GRIT Studio to support a lifestyle campaign for the McBride Sisters Collection, the largest Black-owned winery in the United States. The goal: visually translate the bold, adventurous spirit of the McBride Sisters brand into a cinematic experience that felt aspirational, immersive, and transportive.

Set along the rugged coastline of Big Sur, the campaign leaned into movement, environment, and emotion, pairing wine with a sense of escape and discovery.

The Content

Definition Films captured all video and drone content for the campaign, focusing on cinematic motion, natural light, and expansive landscapes that elevated the brand’s storytelling.

Deliverables included:

  • Cinematic lifestyle video content designed for digital and social platforms

  • Sweeping aerial drone cinematography showcasing the dramatic California coastline

  • Intentional, story-driven visuals highlighting product, environment, and experience

  • On-location capture that balanced polished brand imagery with authentic, in-the-moment energy

Every frame was designed to feel premium yet approachable, aligning with the McBride Sisters’ voice while giving GRIT Studio flexible assets to deploy across the campaign.

The Impact

The resulting visuals brought the Escape with Flavor / Seaside Escape concept to life, helping position the McBride Sisters Collection within a refined, adventurous lifestyle context. Through cinematic execution and elevated aerial storytelling, the content reinforced the brand’s identity while creating a strong emotional connection with its audience.

This collaboration highlights how intentional video and drone work can transform a location into a feeling, and a product into an experience.
