THE JOURNEY OF A MEAL
CLIENT // Redwood Empire Food Bank
In a powerful collaboration with Redwood Empire Food Bank, we had the honor of bringing their mission to life through a short film for their 2025 Empty Bowls gala. What began as a simple idea to show how a single meal travels from farm to table, evolved into “The Journey of a Meal”, a deeply moving fundraising film that captures the heart of a community united by compassion.
Our team hit the ground running, interviewing local farmers, grocery partners, dedicated volunteers, and the passionate staff behind Redwood Empire Food Bank’s daily operations. We also heard directly from those whose lives are touched by these efforts, real people, real gratitude, real impact. Each voice added a unique thread to the larger story, revealing how much care and collaboration goes into every meal served.
Back in the office during post-production, we wove these voices together with vivid, cinematic broll captured across Sonoma County, from sunlit farms to bustling distribution centers, crafting a narrative that’s as visually stunning as it is emotionally resonant.
The result? A film that didn’t just tell a story, it stirred hearts. It helped Redwood Empire Food Bank raise crucial funds, engage their audience, and shine a spotlight on the hidden heroes of food security.
